The HP/Agilent 3312A Function Generator is a compact, wide range, dual function generator consisting of a main generator and a modulation generator

Main generator provides sine, square or triangle wave outputs over the frequency range 0.1Hz to 13Mhz
Modulation generator provides sine, square or triangle wave outputs over the frequency range 0.01Hz to 10khz
Modulation generator can Amplitude Modulate (AM) or Frequency Modulate (FM) the main generator output:
- AM envelope adjustable from 0% to 100%
- FM can change the carrier frequency up to ±5%
